Joshua Kim is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) licensed with the CCHPBC. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Life Science from the UBC, providing him with a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and health sciences. He completed his massage therapy training with honours, further cultivating his commitment to evidence-informed and client-centered care.

Before becoming an RMT, Joshua served in various public service roles within government and national agencies. These experiences helped shape his values of professionalism, empathy, and a deep respect for caring for others.

Joshua offers therapeutic treatments that include deep tissue massage, myofascial release, fascial stretch therapy, and joint care. His treatments are designed to support individuals dealing with chronic pain, injury rehabilitation, or tension-related concerns. He also places strong emphasis on empowering his clients through personalized home care guidance and lifestyle recommendations.

Having personally experienced chronic pain, Joshua brings genuine empathy and insight to his practice. He is committed to creating a calm, respectful, and supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and cared for.

Outside of the clinic, Joshua enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children. Maggie has participated in various sports with a particular focus on ballet and swimming. She is passionate about working collaboratively with clients, helping them achieve and sustain active and healthy lifestyles. Maggie also has experience working closely with special needs children as a Behavioral Interventionist during her undergraduate years.

In the recent years, she also diverted her interest in Pilates; she has completed training with STOTT Pilates and is enthusiastic about helping clients develop core stabilization and peripheral control.

In her spare time, Maggie finds delight in exploring various restaurants around the city with her friends and family. Additionally, she takes pleasure in experimenting with various cuisines and creating hearty dishes at home.

Janet Lo is a specialist in neurological care through integrative Traditional Chinese Medicine, with over 18 years of experience treating complex neurological and musculoskeletal conditions including post-stroke syndromes, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, ADHD, cerebral palsy, autism, migraines, TMJ, frozen shoulder, sciatica, carpal tunnel, and plantar fasciitis.

She is the founder of Joy of Life Health & Wellness in Canada, as well as two clinics in Hong Kong: the Hong Kong Neurology TCM & Laser Acupuncture Centre (2017) and the Hong Kong Cerebral-injured Rehabilitation Centre (2015). Currently Vice Chair of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (Cerebral Palsy Committee, 2022–2027), Janet is also a published clinical researcher and contributor to pediatric neurology publications.

Aery is a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCM.P.) with clinical experience treating neurological conditions (stroke, facial paralysis, Parkinson’s disease), pain management (joint pain, knee pain, stiff neck, headache, tennis elbow, lower back pain), and systemic issues (foot edema, swollen knees).

Her acupuncture specialty focuses on pain relief, effectively addressing conditions like migraines, musculoskeletal pain, and post-operative discomfort. She also treats common ailments including colds, tinnitus, insomnia, irregular menstruation, and indigestion.

Committed to advanced practice, Aery regularly attends TCM seminars and conducts personal research to refine her expertise in scalp acupuncture.
